This is the first shawl(-ette) I've tried knitting, but it definitely won't be the last. I loved it, and it just flew off the needles.
Here you go Nina. Hope you like it :)
Pre-blocking - wingspan 90cm.
All blocked out - wingspan 112 cm.
Post-blocking - wingspan 100cm.
I love the elongated garter stitch, and am considering trying to make a top in it - I think it would look great over a tank top.
Pattern: Storm Cloud Shawlette.
Yarn: Bumbo Acrylgarn - 100% acrylic.
New technique learned: Stretchy cast off.
The shawlette is gorgeous!

DeleteIt's lovely - I'm so glad to see the FO as I was fancying it as a WIP and it's just as nice as expected. Love your colours - I'm sure it will be loved!

ReplyDeleteI love this! I'm seeing so many beautiful shawls at the moment. I think I'll have to knit my first soon too :)
ReplyDeleteI can recommend this for being an incredible fast knit. It's knitted on 5mm needles and the large needles combined with the elongated garter stitch means it grows quickly.
DeleteI really like the color. Its gorgeous. It turned out really well
