The Elfe is a delight to knit :) I'm on round 160 of 180, so not much longer to go now :) Hopefully this will be its last appearance in a WIP post, because even if I haven't finished by Friday, something's VERY wrong if I haven't finished by next Wednesday! :)
Ooh I've knit that top as well. It's a great pattern, and yours is looking lovely. Gorgeous colours!
ReplyDeleteThank you :) I'm using Candy Skein's Yummy Fingering and it's just perfect for this top :)
DeleteThe top is beautiful. I love how the stripes are getting thicker and thinner. :-) I'm sure you will have finished soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you :) I now wish I had started with a thicker blue to start, because I love that colour, but I wasn't sure there'd be enough yarn for it... there is, with more left over. Ah well, you live, you learn :)
DeleteLove love love how your top is looking. Great work!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is on my to-knit list as well! Good to hear it's fun to knit... and your version is looking great.
ReplyDeleteIt's all in the yarn, I think... that and then the fact that I love comfort knitting :)
DeleteYou must be proud because the top is very beautiful. Really love it:)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteLove love love this top!
ReplyDeleteIt looks amazing, I am sure you will be done really soon.
ReplyDeleteLOVE! I'm so glad I found your blog today, I just cast on for an Elfe over the weekend! I can't wait to see yours when it's done, I love the colors you chose!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear it! :) I finished earlier today, so it's currently blocking :) I'll probably have FO photos up next Friday (it'll still be too wet to wear tomorrow).
DeleteLove the color combo - I'm a huge fan of stripes :) Good luck on finishing it!
ReplyDeleteIt is going to be lovely!
ReplyDeleteAmazing top, hope you can finish it.
