Same with the edge - right now, immediately after blocking - the roll isn't too bad, but I'm wondering if it'll creep up again with use.
Before blocking - quite a noticeable roll to the edge.
After blocking - much better.
From the back.
Pattern: Get Fresh
Yarn: Drops Muskat from Garnstudio - Egyptian mercerized cotton
New technique learned: Three needle cast off, knitting in the round (okay, so not exactly challenging, but it's the first time I've tried it, so new technique!)
That's stunning, even before blocking. Well done, you are wearing it with pride.
ReplyDeleteIt looks gorgeous! The little roll up is actually really nice, it looks like it is part of the pattern
ReplyDeleteThanks! That's what I thought too, so as long as it doesn't revert to the major roll of pre-blocking, I'll just leave it as it is :)
DeleteIt's really nice and I actually love the rolling of the hem on a casual garment like this. The colour looks so good on you!
ReplyDeleteThanks :-)
DeleteIt's really lovely. I wouldn't worry about the edge either - it looks great!
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice colour! Looks to me like the shoulders fit perfectly and the little sleeve caps drape very nicely. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you :) Yes, the shoulders and sleeves fit like they should, which is what makes me thing that it's the positive ease that makes me feel like it's too big. The pattern is really just straight up and down, and I like things that go in a bit at the waist.
DeleteLooks gorgeous! I think that the gentle roll looks good as well, it has its charm :)
ReplyDeleteIts really cute. I like the gentle roll because it makes it more charming XD
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful and like a perfect fit. It's not too large at all. I like the roll too.
