FO Fridays - Storm Cloud Shawlette

This is the first shawl(-ette) I've tried knitting, but it definitely won't be the last. I loved it, and it just flew off the needles.

Here you go Nina. Hope you like it :)

Pre-blocking - wingspan 90cm.

All blocked out - wingspan 112 cm.

Post-blocking - wingspan 100cm.

I love the elongated garter stitch, and am considering trying to make a top in it - I think it would look great over a tank top.

Pattern: Storm Cloud Shawlette.
Yarn: Bumbo Acrylgarn - 100% acrylic.
New technique learned: Stretchy cast off.

    1. I can recommend this for being an incredible fast knit. It's knitted on 5mm needles and the large needles combined with the elongated garter stitch means it grows quickly.
