WIP Wednesday - Summer top

I have a feeling I'll be posting photos of this top on Wednesdays for a while yet ;-)

It's coming along nicely though.

Only one more repetition of this pattern to go and then I need to start thinking sleeves.

I really love the pattern! It's fun to knit, and I think it looks great. Can't wait to see how it'll look on me. I just hope it'll fit... it looks a tad big, but I guess I won't know till it's done.

Check Tami's Amis for other WIP Wednesdays.

  1. Pretty! I like the colour and the pattern, can't wait to see it when it is done. I can never tell if things will fit while they are on the needles, it drives me mad!

  7. The top is coming along nicely! I understand about repetitive WIP posts but it's great to look at all of the posts and see how far you've come.

    1. It is actually :) When I feel nothing's happening, I can just look back at the last few week's photos :)

  9. If you're really concerned about fit you could put it all on waste yarn and try it on. Usually when I think something maybe a tad too big, it turns out miles too big :(

    Lovely colour!

    1. I did consider doing that, but I doubt I'd be able to get myself to frog it and start over again even if it turned out it was too big... :-/ I think I'll just finish it and then see how bad it is. Perhaps my sister (who sews) might be able to alter it a bit if it's completely hopeless.

Thanks! I love the colour too :)
