WIP Wednesday - Ladybug sweater

Stumbled across another test-knit, and as it used yarn I already had in my stash, and looked like a quick knit and really, really cute, I figured I'd go for it :)

Finished the front...
... and am working on the back. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of that yet, but it's like the front, only with room for sleeves ;)

I'm using 100% merino yarn and am knitting this in a size 3T. Hopefully I'll be able to get far enough by March 10th so I can try it on my youngest niece and see if it fits :)

  1. What is it? A poncho?

I'd love to do test knits but hardly have time for my own knits!

    1. Ah, sorry. I thought I' said. No, it's a sweater where the front chestpiece is knitted first and then the back+shoulders is knitted separately and then joined in the round to the front when you hit the sleeves... sounds a lot more complicated than it is, I promise :)

I don't really have time for test knits either, but I can't resist the lure of trying something new... it's the same thing that has me requesting all these ARCs even though I still have 150+ books of my own I haven't read yet.

  2. Handy if you have the yarn and have a niece it'll fit :) Sounds like serendipity!
